- Unload materials and merchandise from inbound trucks and scan them to assigned locations.
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets for storage or shipment.
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
- Transport raw materials to production areas.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform daily inspections on forklifts per OSHA guidelines.
- Help maintain safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
- Work overtime as required.
- Must be able to work as part of a team in support of production operation. Disruptive behavior isn’t tolerated.
- Must be able to adhere to dress code.
- Closed toed shoes, long pants, t-shirt, or long sleeve shirt. No baggy clothing. No hoody strings. Hair longer than shoulder-length must be worn in a ponytail as a safety precaution.
- Report any safety hazards/concerns to Supervisor, Plant Manager, Safety Manager/HR Manager.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to show up to work on time ready to work.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
- Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16”.
- Good attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to be flexible with job location (i.e. finishing area, machine room, etc.).
- Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Must be 18 years old.
