Position Overview: As a Forklift Operator, you will be an integral part of our warehouse and logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the smooth flow of our operations.
Hours: 1st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:30pm - 12:00am
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse, production area, or other designated locations.
- Load and unload trucks with precision and efficiency.
- Safely stack and organize products in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team members to ensure timely and accurate material handling.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Valid Forklift Operator certification or license.
- Ability to operate different types of forklifts, including sit-down and stand-up models.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
