The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience repairing and maintaining forklifts, tuggers, and Cushman carts and will have their experience listed on their resume.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • As a Forklift Maintenance Technician, you will assess motive power equipment (forklifts, tuggers, Cushman carts, etc.) performance and identify issues.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and areas for improvement.
  • Implement routine procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions and diagnose and fix faulty components promptly.
  • Conduct regular system checks to identify wear and tear.
  • Implement upgrades to enhance equipment performance and compliance.
  • Stay updated on technology and enhance system performance.
  • Contribute to team projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education or a certificate in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair forklifts, tuggers, Cushman carts, etc. is required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of forklifts, tuggers, etc.
  • Capability of interpreting diagnostic data to identify issues accurately.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to perform tasks in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Adept at identifying and solving problems efficiently, including troubleshooting, making sound decisions, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Effective communication with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail to conduct thorough inspections, document maintenance activities, and ensure that all components are in proper working order.
  • Good physical fitness. The role may involve physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, bending, and standing for extended periods.
