Forklift Driver (Scaffolding Equipment)

Do you have a strong work ethic and a valid forklift license?

We're seeking a motivated Forklift Driver to join our team at a growing commercial shipyard in Savannah, GA! In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to transport and maneuver Scaffolding Equipment around the shipyard.

Responsibilities:

· Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and position Scaffolding Equipment.

· Conduct pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

· May assist with other yard operations as needed.

Qualifications:

· Valid forklift operator license.

· Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a commercial setting (preferred).

· Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.93 - $24.01 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
