Responsibilities
- Prepare kits by manually selecting and gathering the necessary parts and materials according to assembly and production orders.
- Ensure all kits are accurately labeled and documented to facilitate the smooth flow of materials throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to determine the most efficient methods of kitting and optimize inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitting area, ensuring all equipment and tools are properly stored and in good working condition.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to kitted materials.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment and prevent any accidents or injuries.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Forklift certification required
- Proven experience working in a kitting or assembly role within the mechanical or industrial engineering industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track and document materials.
- Proficient in using basic hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and technical drawings.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills to address any issues that may arise during the kitting process.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
