DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will conduct pest surveys and site assessments in Pennsylvania to detect the Spotted Lanternfly, involving fieldwork in various settings such as agricultural, forest, and industrial areas. Responsibilities include contacting property owners to explain survey programs, obtaining permission to examine trees or place traps on private properties, and following survey protocols for trap placement, maintenance, and removal. Additionally, you will be performing site assessments to identify suitable properties for pest treatment or further surveys.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Seasonal, full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position will cover the Eastern Region which consists of Luzerne, Lackawanna, Pike, Monroe, Carbon Schuylkill, Northumberland, Montour, Columbia, Wyoming, Bradford, Susquehanna, Sullivan, and Wayne Counties
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Any combination of experience and/or training which afforded the applicant the above listed required abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.
