This is a full-time position, with the option to work hybrid as dictated by management. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must have flexibility to take calls/Teams meetings from Germany in the early morning hours
Job duties include creating and maintaining forecast models for customers, as well as incorporating business intelligence and forecasting information gathered from other areas such as sales, marketing, finance, and supply. Candidates will lead the process and meetings each month for meeting customer demand with these counterparts in the organization. Their role is crucial in assisting the organization to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and meet customer demand while maintaining high customer satisfaction.  Will travel 10% time.
 Essential Functions
  • Forecasting: Collect and analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to develop accurate demand forecasts. This involves using statistical models, software tools, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand market dynamics. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply management, to develop and execute an integrated S&OP process. 
  • Identify factors that contribute to demand variability, such as seasonality, promotions, and external events. Candidates will analyze historical data to quantify and understand these variations and incorporate them into demand forecasts and inventory plans. 
  • Candidate will track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and forecasting accuracy. Regularly assess the accuracy of demand forecasts and make necessary adjustments to improve planning efficiency and minimize forecast errors. 
  • The forecaster will work closely with Supply Planners to ensure demand fluctuations are known and accounted for in the revised supply plans. 
  • Effectively communicate demand plans and forecasts to stakeholders, including sales teams. Collaborate with these stakeholders to gather relevant information, validate assumptions, and ensure a smooth flow of information across the supply chain. 
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and demand planning methodologies. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy, streamline operations, and drive efficiency gains.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or other related degree,
  • 5+ years of experience in Forecasting and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning),
  • Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams,
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP system,
  • Strong math and data entry skills,
  • Understanding of internal controls.


Preferred Education and Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in the retail industry,
  • MBA or other advanced degree,
  • CPM or CPIM certification or any other Supply Chain function-related certification.


This job operates in a combination of professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Additionally, this role will encounter equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles, with high noise levels possible in a warehouse setting.
Physical Demands 
  • Ability to lift 5 – 20 pounds periodically and 50 pounds on occasion, stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and stand or sit for up to 8 hours 

This is a perm placement position for a first shift position requiring some travel and overtime when needed.  Pay range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000/year.
