Master Mechanic Technician Responsibilities
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
- Performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance
with dealership standards. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers.
- Knowledge of Ford repair procedures and specifications.
- Keeping up to date with manufacturer technical bulletins and industry developments.
- Experience with Ford diagnostic equipment and software.
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance on all Ford models, including hybrids and
electric vehicles.
General Logistical Duties Technician Responsibilities
- Conducting test drives and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and
special service equipment. - Communicating with the parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engines,
transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more. - Communicating directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers if additional service
is needed and providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs. - Operating all tools and equipment in a safe manner and reporting any safety issues
to management. - Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- Ford Certified Master Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive
repair and service. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic computer competencies
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
