Job Summary:
Briggs Automotive Group is seeking skilled and experienced Ford Automotive Technicians to join our team in Fort Scott, Kansas. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, with a competitive salary of $20 to $40 per hour. As a Technician at Briggs Automotive Group, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive repair and maintenance services on Ford vehicles. This includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, performing regular maintenance services, and ensuring the safety and functionality of the vehicles. This is an individual contributor role with potential for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues in Ford vehicles
- Repair and replace faulty parts and components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all services and repairs performed on each vehicle
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and attend training programs to enhance skills
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on vehicles
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding vehicle repairs and services
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Ford Automotive Technician
- ASE certification preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of Ford vehicles and their systems
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
