Responsibilities:
- Officiate sports games, primarily Football, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules
- Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and spectators to maintain a positive and respectful environment
- Make accurate and timely decisions on fouls, violations, and other game-related incidents
- Enforce sportsmanship and fair play among participants
- Provide guidance and instruction to players when necessary
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport
- Manage conflicts or disputes that may arise during games
Requirements:
- Previous experience officiating sports games, preferably basketball
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with players, coaches, and spectators
- Experience working with children in a sports coaching or mentoring capacity
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations on the field
- Familiarity with the rules and regulations of basketball or willingness to learn
- Ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Availability to work evenings and weekends for games and tournaments
