Southern Foodservice Management, Inc., a national contract food service provider, is seeking to hire Foodservice Seasonal Staff for multiple positions at Fort Knox Army Base in Fort Knox, Kentucky 40121.

We are looking for hard-working cooks and cleaning personnel to come join our team to help complete our mission and make sure some of our nation’s bravest individuals are fed, hydrated and ready for their summer training.

Full-time and part-time positions will be available starting May 06, 2024, until August 15, 2024, with varying days including weekends.

The hours are 4:00am to 9:00pm.

The pay range is $24.30 to $26.25 per hour.

(For interviews you must have a military ID card or CAC; a gate-pass can be obtained at the Visitor’s Center at the Main Chaffee Gate).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks to support meal production, service, breakdown, overall cleanliness of the cafeteria and related work areas, and all other business objectives.
• Prepare dining and serving areas by setting up counters, stands, and tables.
• Clean and straighten work areas.
• Manually or mechanically wash, rinse, and sort dishes, glasses, silverware pots and pans.
• Maintain proper temperature for sterilization and add soap when needed.
• Clean and keep in an orderly condition working areas and washrooms, or premises of a commercial or other establishment.
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing floors and metal fixtures or trimmings.
• Trash removal throughout the operation.
• All other duties as assigned.
