We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Food Service Worker to join our team. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation
- Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality of food
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and dining areas
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions about menu items
- Operate the POS system to process customer orders and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates
Experience:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
