Job description

The Bank, Hilton Head’s Beer Garden (“The Bank”), is the premiere community—focused venue on Hilton Head Island. Inside the four walls of a 17,000 square foot former Bank of America branch, visitors will find attractions such as Side Hustle Brewing Company, Pizza Co, Bank Heist Burgers, Mo’ Money Tacos, a gift shop, and an original bank vault, stocked with freshly canned craft beer to go. Outside, The Bank’s beer garden boasts 55,000 square feet of good times generated by a teller window for ordering craft beer, food & beverages, a standalone armored car bar, delicious food from All About the Benjamins Seafood, Dollar Billy’s and Ben Franks Food Trucks, unique drinks, live entertainment, a family zone, and games. The best part? Everything is draped in low country swagger.

This venture is the beginning of Watterson Brands’ Moon King Entertainment Group, a diverse collection of thoughtfully curated, experiential venues that explore local history, culture, and cuisine while providing live entertainment and a sense of place.

Summary of Position:

Reporting to Vice President of Operations (Bryant Arns), the Food Truck Team Member ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the Food Trucks are always stocked, neat, clean and safe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicates with fellow Food Truck Team Members to allow lead-time to coordinate all tickets. Prepares all food to specifications of Food Truck recipes.
  • Reads checks thoroughly to ensure accurate completion of orders.
  • Preps for assigned food items. Wash and clean raw food products. Peels, dices, shreds and slices food products using electric equipment.
  • Maintains cooking line in a clean, sanitary and safe manner. Completes daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Maintains personal health and sanitation standards.
  • Stocks/restocks items on the Food Truck according to specifications.
  • Labels, dates, rotates and store all items properly. Monitors temperatures of the Food Trucks products.
  • Supports your team in a fast-paced environment with the goal of smooth service.
  • Reports any customers who may be too intoxicated for service.

This position does not currently have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job entails frequent exposure to smoke, steam, high temperatures, humidity and extreme cold. There is also frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products and produce items.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and stand. The employee might be required to reach, bend, stoop, shake, stir, pour, carry, push, and lift objects up to 75 pounds. There is substantial repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of prior restaurant work experience.

Pay: $18.01 - $21.69 per hour
