Food Truck Cook/Attendant 9Am- 5Pm *Pay By Day Available

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide quality service to Food Truck customers by providing prompt and courteous food and beverage service.

PAY BY DAY NOW AVAILABLE!! CASH OUT UP TO 50% OF WAGES AFTER EACH SHIFT**

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers as they approach the truck
• Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods
• Inform customers of daily specials
• Take beverage and food orders using an electronic POS system
• Serve food and/or beverages to customer
• Stock service window area with supplies such as utensils, bags, condiments, to-go containers
• Stock Food Truck with Required Food and Beverages
• Work with other staff members and be a team player
• Cook Orders to specified standards
• Make alcoholic drink orders to specified standards
• Performs general cleaning of Food Truck prep areas, counter and tables.
• Position is eligible for customer tips.

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily outdoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to interact and provide customers with a positive customer experience. This position is required to work outside and is subject to all types of weather conditions. Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time. Employees also must be able to hear, speak, and see clearly. The ability to work any hours/days of the week necessary to meet business needs is required.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of quick serve or restaurant serving experience preferred
• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to engage and interact with associates and guests
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Displays working knowledge of cash register to ring up bills
• Ability to accurately handle cash, credit cards and checks.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers
• Safe Alcohol Service training a plus.

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand; walk; use hands to handle, grasp or type; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or twist; talk or hear; and to push, pull or lift over 20 pounds. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Fluency in the English language and the ability to speak, hear, read and write are required as is the ability to work any hours/days of the week necessary to meet business requirements.
