Job Description
Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Chef, Food Service Worker-Utility is responsible for a variety of tasks in relation to monitoring and maintaining dishware washing needs, dish room, and pots and pans area.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to function in a high stress environment Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to continuously stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift
Additional Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain dishware washing needs, dish room, and pots and pans area during each shift
- Complete and return all appropriate temp or sanitation logs to manager at the end of each shift
- Clean all work areas 15 minutes prior to end of shift to allow manager or lead cook/crew leader to double check work areas
- Inform management of damaged and unsafe equipment to be repaired or replaced
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- Maintain clean prep areas, coolers, shelves, and floors in all work areas
- Consistently provide high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist with detailed sanitation in dining areas when necessary
- Work catering as deemed necessary for operational needs
- Other cleaning and utility related tasks may be assigned
Pay Rate will be based on current Union Contract
