Food Service Worker - Utility

Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Chef, Food Service Worker-Utility is responsible for a variety of tasks in relation to monitoring and maintaining dishware washing needs, dish room, and pots and pans area.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to function in a high stress environment Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to continuously stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift

Additional Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain dishware washing needs, dish room, and pots and pans area during each shift
• Complete and return all appropriate temp or sanitation logs to manager at the end of each shift
• Clean all work areas 15 minutes prior to end of shift to allow manager or lead cook/crew leader to double check work areas
• Inform management of damaged and unsafe equipment to be repaired or replaced
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
• Maintain clean prep areas, coolers, shelves, and floors in all work areas
• Consistently provide high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Assist with detailed sanitation in dining areas when necessary
• Work catering as deemed necessary for operational needs
• Other cleaning and utility related tasks may be assigned

Pay Rate will be based on current Union Contract
