Job Tasks Description
1. Prepare food according to planned menus, using approved school recipes and safe food handling procedures.
2. Serve food to students, teachers, staff, and community
3. Clean and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen.
4. Foster a team environment by assisting coworkers with scheduled work demands.
5. Label and prepare food for storage.
6. Maintain and care for kitchen equipment.
7. Communicate and interact positively with students, teachers, staff, parents, and community.
8. Operate cash register, computer, and /or utilize roster system.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education And Related Work Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; experience with Food Services and/or school nutrition programs preferred.
Licenses, Registrations or Certifications:
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Must obtain Food Handlers certification.
