Food Service Worker

About the role:

Under the direction of the Café Manager the Part-time Food Service Worker for Dining Services is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Roadrunner Café. This part-time role involves supporting the efficient preparation and delivery of food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation, and providing excellent customer service. Performance goals for this position are summarized within the areas of food preparation and production, customer service, safety, sanitation, compliance, and training and communication.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Valid Food Handler Card
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in a food industry environment.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities deemed necessary for this position.
• Preference will be given to those who have some catering experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
