Fills out production charts accurately.
Make sure deposits are completed daily.
Checks department daily for cleanliness.
Maintains a clean and organized work area and keeps serving line well stocked with supplies.
Consistently checks patient trays for accuracy at each meal.
Monitors food temps and follows HACCP procedures.
Supervises preparation of meals and serves special menus for hospital functions as scheduled.
Willing to work when needed.
Adheres to CRMC dress guidelines and abides by all policies and procedures.
Performs duties in an independent manner and needs little or no direct supervision.
Completes staff update test annually.
Make sure Dietary Clerks are doing sandwiches and diabetic snacks.
Communicates with patients and visitors in a professional manner as appropriate for age.
Supervises employees in preparation and service of therapeutic diets.
Makes sure that food allergies are honored.
Learns diet instructions material and can verbalize them to the patients in Dieticians absence.
Supervises and instructs employees in good safety practices and instructs employees to report all safety
hazards.
Supervises and instructs employees in food preparation, making sure food temps are maintained.
Runs computer accurately and keeps accurate records.
Checks temperature of food before, during and after meal service to make sure temps are being maintained.
Assigns tasks to employees effectively.
Able to make sound immediate decisions.
Adjusts personal schedule in conjunction with departmental schedule and needs.
Adheres to CRMC dress guidelines and abides by all policies and procedures.
Performs any and other job duties as assigned by Director for completion of job requirements.
Annual completion of World Health Organization hand hygiene education and training and its relationship to
infection control in addition to physical demonstration and understanding of compliance monitoring.
