Food Service Specialist I

NCBH provides excellent treatment to all of Northwestern Oklahoma. We are licensed and Joint Commission accredited since 1974. We provide complete mental health and substance abuse services for the individuals of Northwest Oklahoma in our outpatient offices, residential substance abuse program and our inpatient psychiatric unit.

Responsibilities: The Food Service Specialist I is involved in handling, preparing, cooking and serving food for regular, modified and special diets for our inpatient and residential facilities. This position is located in Fort Supply, OK. This is the basic level where employees are assigned simple and routine duties that might include preparing toast, tea and coffee, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Food Service area.

Job Type/Salary:

  • Full-time
  • Primary Working Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm / 10:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • Annual Salary - $26,000.00
  • Number of Vacancies - 1(one)
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Special Requirements:  

  • Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background. 

  • Must possess a US driver’s license to perform job related travel if necessary.  

  • Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. 

  • Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds, 20 pounds frequently and be able to push and pull a maximum force of 50 pounds. 

THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
