We are seeking a Food Service Shift Lead who will report directly to the Food Service Supervisor. This person is responsible for leading the Food Service staff in offering excellent customer service, and completes all assigned duties.
This is a part-time, hourly position.
Example of Duties:
- Create an excellent experience for all customers.
- Lead part-time employees, including ensuring that they have completed all job duties.
- Work with the Food Service Supervisor in monitoring food court vendors for compliance with agreements, especially hours of operation.
- Ensure staff follow their daily cleaning routine as well as the Master Cleaning Schedule.
- Oversee cash and credit reconciliation and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor.
- Maintain sanitation and organization of all food and non-food storage areas.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- ServSafe Manager Certified preferred; ServSafe manager certification must be completed within 30 days of start date (required).
- Knowledge of running a cash register, cash handling, and cash reconciliation.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- High mathematical aptitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license preferred.
