As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionateFood Service Attendant to join our Nutritional Services team. This position requires frequent standing, walking and lifting.
A Food Service Attendant:
- Prepares and delivers meals to patients and residents
- Answers kitchen phone and takes patient meal orders
- Follows dietary restrictions specific to each patient/resident
- Assists with catering events
- Serves meals to employees, patients and visitors
- Performs food-related preparation and stocking
Shift:
- Full-Time - (80 hours every two weeks)
- 5:30a-2:00p or 11:00a-7:30p
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Service experience
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

About our Nutritional Services Department
The Nutritional Services department at Fitzgibbon Hospital provides quality meals to patients, residents, employees and visitors. Café Fitz, located west of the main entrance to the hospital, just past the gift shop provides Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (weekdays only) in addition to hot coffee, freshly popped popcorn and a large variety of snacks and refreshments. Also serving residents and their guests in The Living Center, our Nutritional Services Department offers a friendly touch to the entire patient experience. The Nutritional Services staff promptly delivers meals to patient areas, providing individualized options to meet each patient’s needs.
