- Taking payments when customers leave
The duties of a server may include:
- Greeting diners seated at their tables
- Answering menu questions
- Offering meal suggestions and wine pairings
- Taking orders
- Bringing food and drink to the table
- Setting and clearing tables
- Processing payments
