Food Runner At Milano's Italian Grill

Milano's Italian Grill is seeking a diligent and efficient Food Runner to join our restaurant team. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food orders to our guests. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and serving staff will contribute to a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve food orders from the kitchen and accurately deliver them to the appropriate tables
• Ensure proper plating and presentation of dishes before delivering them to guests
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure all food items are prepared and ready for timely delivery
• Communicate effectively with the serving staff to coordinate food delivery with the order taking process
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to food delivery
• Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and food handling procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Food Runner or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in food delivery
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays of food for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
