Food Production Full-Time Team Member

Position: Food Production

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 Hours shift, Weekend

Pay: $15.50/hr - $17.00/hr (DOE)

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Job Summary:

The Food Production position will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of food items according to the quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understands and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures
• Portions of food products before cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area, including tables, shelves, walls, grills, fryers, oven, and refrigeration equipment
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in closing the kitchen
• Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Manager
• Informs Manager immediately of product shortages
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Able to do repetitious work accurately
• Ability to read, understand, and speak basic English to perform essential functions of the job
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, recipes, production sheets, temperature logs, safety rules, MSDS sheets
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40lbs
• Must be able to be on their feet for an extended period
• Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (flexible schedule)
