Part-Time Production Associate

We have an exceptional team in place and are currently looking for individuals like YOU to join our team part-time.

Location

• Baltimore, Maryland

Pay

• $17/hr
• Multiple positions open for 16-18 hours per week
• Multiple positions open for 6-10 hours per week

The Job

• Work 16-18 hours per week starting in January 2024. May increase to 20-23 hours per week in the following months.
• Our production schedule runs 3-5 days per week, Monday-Friday, between 9am and 5pm.
• Some positions can work 6-10 hours per week starting in January 2024. May increase in the following months.
• Work on the production line making plant-based steak and other vegan foods at our commercial kitchen space (shared facility).
• Accurately and efficiently make products by following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) with a team of 2-5 people (depending on batch size) under the supervision of the Production Manager.
• Learn the quality standards per product.
• Learn how to use weighing scales and large production equipment correctly and safely.
• Follow proper GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety practices.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, unafraid to get a little dirty, and able to lift objects 25-50 lbs.
• Perform sanitation duties such as washing dishes, cleaning floors, and emptying trash cans.
• Participate in growing a passionate team focused on building the future of plant-based protein.

Your qualifications

• Experience working with food or in a kitchen or in a production/manufacturing facility is required.
• Experience with equipment such as weighing scales, mixers, deli slicers, dough sheeters, and ovens is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, quickly learn new tasks, show initiative, and work well with other team members.
• Valid work permit is required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 18 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Travel requirement:

• No travel
