Food Manufacturer - Mixer Helper - 3rd Shift

PURPOSE STATEMENT
Assists Mixer associates by assembles and pre-measures required ingredients for mixing process, following established formulas, to help ensure quality dough product from mixers. Assists mixers in transferring dough product and transporting dough to and from line.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

• Weighs, measures ingredients.
• Assist mixer associates to the extent required, however, is not a fully qualified mixer.
• Hand scales small ingredients. Loads by hand bulk materials
• Controls temperature and consistency of the dough.
• Set -up and changes over equipment
• Conduct pre-ops
• Keeps work area clean and orderly, in compliance with GMP standards.
• Ability to work overtime has been and always will be an Essential Function of this position.
• Regular and consistent Attendance has been and always will be an Essential Function of this position.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Special certification may be required for use of forklift and chemicals
• Knowledge, skills, and ability to operate computer programs as needed
• One year experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment
• Medium to high degree of judgment required
• Basic math skills necessary
