Food Handler/Cashier

No experience required, just a warm, friendly personality and passion to learn. We'll train you to make espresso beverages and run a kitchen. Already have experience to bring to the table? AWESOME! You'll be able to pick things up in no time! Training is 1 on 1 and based on individual needs.

Pay: Discussed during interview based on personal experience, charisma, professionalism, among other factors.

Tips: After 120hr of training or completed Training Log with ownership approval

Hours & availability: Update Square Team app upon hire and as needed

Time off: Availability changes should be made in Square and scheduling manager should be notified with as much notice as possible. Submit requests online and mark the calendar in the shop. Typically ask for not more than 2 people to ask the same day off considering both shops have small teams.

Breaks: 30min paid break every full shift, this time is worked in during the down time

Food & Beverage: 1 meal per shift, Free made in house beverages, Free bottled water, 25% off on all purchased retail products,

Core Responsibilities

• Uphold sanitation expectations given by management
• Record inventory items as needed (help with inventory & waste log)
• Waste management, always FIFO properly (First in, First Out)
• Cash handling, working till including ringing up guest and refunds
• Food handling, breakfast and lunch menu served all day. All meats are precooked upon arrival. Cooking method: Turbo oven & microwaves
• Espresso and Coffee Preparation, training is provided
• Restocking goods, like cups, lids, bottled drinks, packaged snacks
• Completing shift checklist as expected
• Maintain Grubhub menu availability

Other responsibilities and expectations

• Maintain positive & professional rapport with Toyota Team
• Follow the dress code guideline
• Communicate with the Manager and/or owner anything of importance or concern.
• Team Communication, we should all take time to recognize peers going above and beyond and document all unacceptable team behaviors ex: tardiness/absence, poor job performance, lack of communication in our team group chat and with management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
