Food & Event Services Manager

Summary of Responsibilities

Oversee internal business support operations including, food service, hospitality, catering, community support, convenience store, and others. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts and relationships. Manage staff for the administration and communication of business support requests as they relate to facilities needs, security needs, maintenance services, foodservice, catering, and hospitality. Directly engage and/or oversee marketing events. Oversee corporate activities as they relate to community support and charitable organizations. Responsible for the selection and training of personnel. Lead and direct the work of others. Manage personnel actions such as salary adjustments, performance, promotions, etc.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 5 years of experience in Food and/or Event Management or related field
• Computer skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Budget management skills
• Negotiation skills
• Project and process management skills
• Professional communication skills
• Knowledge of business hospitality and foodservice operations
• Creativity and vision with respect to presentation and delivery of services
• Preferred Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, hospitality, or related field
