Food Delivery Driver

We are seeking friendly and helpful Food Delivery Drivers to support our customers in Chicago and surrounding areas. As one of our drivers you will deliver buffet style orders to different clients. Excellent service will help us maintain customer loyalty through pleasant interactions. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator who has a valid driver’s license and is looking for flexibility in their work schedule.

Objectives of this role

Provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty by delivering food in a timely, cordial manner
Ensure orders are delivered accurately and in good condition
Communicate any issues or delays and resolve problems efficiently
Represent the company with excellence and professionalism by driving safely, exercising good judgment, and treating clients with respect

Responsibilities
Manage catering orders, delivery locations, and clients at the same time
Deliver orders within an optimal period of time, ensuring freshness of food and respect for customer preferences
Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion
Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log

Required skills and qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with proof of insurance
Ability to lift and carry food orders and operate a vehicle for prolonged periods of time
Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution
Mindset for organization and attention to details

Preferred skills and qualifications
Previous delivery or customer service experience in any industry
Proven track record of succeeding in time-sensitive situations
Familiarity with the local area, including streets, highways, and buildings

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
