Position Description:
Monitor compliance with Food Defense in Raw and Component Receiving to prevent contamination in order to provide customers with quality products. This is an entry-level position, no prior experience required as training will be provided.

Monitor compliance with Food Defense in Raw and Component Receiving to prevent contamination in order to provide customers with quality products. This is an entry-level position, no prior experience required as training will be provided.

Review Truck & material / product before unloading
Inspecting Pallets of Raw Materials and Components making sure no damage is present that leads to possible product contamination.
Rejecting pallets of raw material and/or components that show signs of damage and contamination.
Verify that raw materials and or components and quantities delivered match PO and/or packing slip.
Approving receipt of raw material and/or components upon inspection of pallets.
Present during raw material sampling verifying that Receiving department follows Raw Material sampling according to Food Defense Program and signing off on Raw Material COA form verifying that Food Defense was present during sampling process.
Sign off Sample logbook verifying samples and provide samples to Quality Control Lab.
Inspecting raw material warehouse daily making sure no materials have been damaged and/or are open and contaminated during storage.
Inspecting of Component Warehouse ensuring components are not vulnerable to environmental contamination.
Skills:
Prior experience in manufacturing in a supplement and or pharmaceutical setting
Knowledge of basic office equipment and Microsoft
Bilingual (Spanish) +

Schedule
40 hour work week: Mon-Thurs, 7:00 - 3:30 p.m., Friday, 7:00 - 2:00 p.m.
