Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4pm.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Administrative Assistant supports the Food and Beverage department, and is responsible for assisting the Director/ Supervisor with general administrative duties.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
- Coordinates resident meetings with the F&B Director
- Receives calls / schedules calls with residents, outside vendors and employees
- Responds timely to emails and resident requests
- Clerical duties as needed, such as generating forms and creating basic flyers and notices for announcements, memos, spreadsheets, meetings, events, etc.
- Create and place signage in the appropriate areas
- Acts as backup for servers
- Assist with party planning and set up, as needed
- Maintains a high level of customer service for residents, guests, and other departments.
- Assists the F&B Director/ Supervisor with various administrative needs and special projects as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director.
Community Relations
- Demonstrates professionalism with residents, family members, visitors, vendors and team members at all times.
- Effectively listens to concerns and responds timely with empathy.
- Attends Community functions and assists as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least three years' experience as an Administrative Assistant or in combination with customer service experience
- Food Service Industry experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Works cooperatively with peers and is a team player.
- Ability to multitask, working on projects while answering the phone and greeting employees.
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High School graduate/GED
