Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to work in conjunction with the Director of Operations in overseeing the Dining and Clubhouse operations at a private golf club in Easton, CT.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a presence in the dining room and around the Clubhouse to greet members and guests and ensure the highest level of service
- Oversee and assist with daily dining operations, as well as club functions and events
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards
- Monitor F & B budget, manage inventory, and order supplies as needed
- Manage and record daily sales utilizing the Club's POS system (Jonas)
- Train and supervise staff members, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff
- Create work schedules and assign duties to ensure efficient operation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room environment
Requirements
- Working knowledge of all aspects of the food service industry, including both Front of House and Back of House experience
- Professional demeanor, good work ethic and team mentality
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of club management software (Jonas) is a plus
Work Week
- In Season (March - November): Tuesday to Sunday (6 days)
- Off season (December - February): Minimal - as needed to close season or plan and prepare for upcoming season. Otherwise, paid time off
