Serves food, alcohol, and other beverages to customers in an efficient and pleasant manner and provides pleasant and efficient customer service to restaurant and bowling center customers.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Takes Food and Beverage orders and transports to customers; reviews orders before delivery to ensure accuracy; accepts payment and makes correct change.
Maintains thorough knowledge of the menu, current promotions and daily specials. Practices suggestive and upselling marketing techniques.
Checks back with customers to ensure that all expectations have been met or exceeded. Promptly assists and responds to all customer questions or requests by immediately taking ownership of the inquiry and guiding to resolution.
Interacts with customers as they leave the facility, thanking them for their business and inviting them back.
Busses tables in lanes and concourse area and returns dishes to kitchen. Monitors and cleans concourse area for any liquid spills or trash on the floor.
Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day. Washes, rinses, and sanitizes bar wares and utensils.
Sets up, stocks and organizes work areas and ensures readiness prior to customers’ arrival.
Adheres to all state, local, and company regulations and laws concerning the service of Food and Beverage products. Must obtain a Washington State MAST permit to serve alcohol and a Food Worker certification within 14 days of employment.
Follows all company safety and security operating standards; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as, extended workdays to support business needs.
Must be detailed-oriented and have the ability to multi-task. Servers must have the ability to work well in a team environment and function in a fast-paced environment, under short-time constraints and within established deadlines.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent required. Lane Servers must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear, and reach with hands and arms. Servers must walk and/or stand 100% of the time during a shift. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, e.g., tables, chairs.
