Hilton Motif Seattle is looking for a driven Food and Beverage Manager Who will focus on banquets!
Located on 5th Avenue in the heart of downtown Seattle, this stylish boutique hotel is nestled between Pike Place Market and Union Street and is surrounded by the city's finest restaurants, shopping, entertainment venues, museums and attractions. This sleek urban style hotel features amenities including a vibrant award-winning restaurant offering an extensive outdoor patio with sweeping city views, over 22,000 square feet of meeting space, and 319 newly redesigned rooms.
Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments. To maintain the high standards of Food and Beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage departments to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
What will I be doing?
As a Food and Beverage Manager for Hilton, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and organization of activities and services of the restaurant outlet and banquet operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of Food and Beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.
- Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
- Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
- Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
- Helps ensure high standards of Food and Beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff
- Provide leadership and support for all banquet colleagues.
Hire, train, motivate, discipline, direct, and supervise the work of the colleagues in the Banquet Department
- Coordinate and insure the needs of the Catering department with the managers of interrelated departments.
- Organize and orchestrate any last minute changes or details to functions.

Salary Range The Salary Range for this role is $75,000-$83,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. #LI-JL2
