Looking for a qualified and experienced candidate to work closely with General Manager and current management team in directing all aspects of daily operations. Responsibilities include:
Interview, select, train and supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for the efficient operation of the outlet.
Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff
Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
Interact positively with guests and upholding the highest hospitality standards
Resolve problems with decisiveness and confidence
Maintain communication with all departments to ensure guest service needs are met.
Move throughout restaurant and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
Give staff guidance toward improvement and make necessary adjustments for consistency.
Maintain profitability of outlet to support overall operation.
Control labor and inventory costs (minimizing loss and misuse).
Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrieving supplies and stocking shelves by stooping, bending, lifting heavy articles and reaching overhead.
Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation.
Develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures.
Position is salaried plus overtime eligibility. Typical shifts are 8 hours- special events may occasionally require a 10 hour shift with overtime compensation. Open availability including PM shifts and weekends is required for consideration.
