Job description

POSITION: Flower Technician

REPORTS TO: Team Leads and Department Managers

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform all tasks throughout the cycle of the grow including cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, waste disposal, and inventory management.
  • Maintain grow warehouse protocols and nutrient regiment.
  • Manage cannabis plants, giving each individual plant the attention needed via transplanting, pruning, and fertilizing with oversight from the department managers.
  • Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep garden green and expenses low.
  • Execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc., maintaining the established Integrated Pest Management protocols.
  • Maintain a clean sanitized and organized work environment.
  • Careful adherence to horticultural production SOPs.
  • Operation and maintenance of hydroponic systems.
  • Adherence to industry rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to provide timely reporting.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lbs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close vision and distant vision.
