The Petal is a local Flower Shop offering refined, organic flowers for daily orders, deliveries, weddings, events, workshops, and by the stem at our BLOOM BAR.
The Petal is seeking a Flower Shop Associate for our floral boutique located at 50th and France. With a focus on daily fresh flowers, wedding and events, workshops, local delivery, and BLOOM BAR. We are looking to grow our team with someone who is passionate about flowers and customer service. The duties and necessary qualifications are below:
- Assist customers with purchases and orders in store, over the phone, and online
- Answer phones, take orders, and prep order information for designers
- Provide positive a customer experience and a willingness to help with requests and orders
- Maintain shop displays, restocking shelves and flowers as needed
- Clean buckets,vases, and other items as needed
- Prepare vases, buckets, etc for designers
- Organize backstock and inventory
- Water and care for plants and flowers
- Other daily tasks as directed
Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Positive attitude, responsible, friendly, and dependable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrate ability to follow through on work direction
- Position requires standing/walking and lifting up to 50lbs
- Part Time. Hours may vary
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
