Florist Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for flowers and design to showcase their talent in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain inventory levels and order new stock as needed
- Keep the store clean and organized, including arranging displays
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering suggestions, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow

Skills:
- Proficiency in using a POS system and operating a cash register
- Strong understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Knowledge of floral design techniques and ability to create visually appealing arrangements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance for caring for potted plants
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers to understand their needs and preferences
- Familiarity with lawn care practices to maintain the freshness of outdoor plants
