Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper - MUST BE LICENSED

This position is for a Licensed Florida Professional Surveyor and Mapper.  If you are not licensed you are not eligible for this position.

Looking for a team player in a mid-sized surveying firm that operates over the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia areas. Our survey firm is involved in new home Construction surveys, residential boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS, small site construction, specific purpose surveys, FEMA Elevation Certificates, wetland surveys, large land development surveys, topographical and tree surveys.

Duties will include but are not limited to assisting project managers with field or drafting issues, assisting and solving boundary surveys and disputes. Communicating with clients and superintendents when needed. Quality control of surveying and mapping products produced. Assisting in overall field and office operations.

Knowledge and Skills:

Solving complex boundaries issues.

Redlining and quality control of surveying and mapping products.

Leadership and management experience a plus.

Ability to communicate surveying issues or needs with engineers, city officials, site superintendents, residential clients.

Good computer skills and able to do records research.

Knowledge and experience with navigating the clerk of the courts and property appraiser’s websites for different counties.

Experience and or willingness to learn AutoCAD civil 3d a plus.

Experience and knowledge of Florida statutes, Local rules/regulations and standards of practice.
