Flooring Installer

```Full job description:```
Everlast Industrial Flooring is seeking an Installer to support its commercial flooring projects for customers in all of Connecticut, Western Mass and Westchester County NY. This position will work under the guidance of a Foreman/Field Manager and work closely with other floor installers. Responsibilities will vary daily by project but typically include operating equipment to prepare surfaces, applying flooring materials and epoxy coatings, as well as floor polishing. Our company works General Construction projects and State Prevailing Wage projects that pay $59/hr! . A valid OSHA 10 Card is required to work on any job site.

```Skills and Requirements:```

• Able to work in a quick moving environment under pressure
• Able to take direction well and a quick learner
• Professional and respectful communication
• Comfortable with operating equipment including: grinders, mixers, able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• Applicant must be able to work on their knees for an extended period for edge grinding and repair work
• Able to work evening and weekend if necessary
• Clean Driving Record

```Description of Duties:```

• Be part of a Flooring team to complete high-quality jobs on time and budget
• Working with clients throughout the job process to ensure an excellent customer experience.
• Assess issues, develop and implement action to resolve them
• Mechanical grinding and vacuuming preparation of concrete surface
• Application of Epoxy Coatings and Polished Concrete Flooring Systems.
• Driving and Maintaining Company Vehicles and Equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $59.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Epoxy Flooring: 1 year (Preferred)
