Floor Technician

Overview:
Please note: This is a contractor/1099 position.

We are currently seeking a Floor Technician to join our team. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various settings. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for our clients and customers.

Duties:
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Operate floor cleaning equipment including buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
- Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed
- Remove stains and spots from carpets and upholstery
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
