Floor Technician

Corporate Care is looking for highly motivated candidates with a willingness to excel and succeed as a Technician. This position provides quality carpet, floor and water restoration and maintenance related services to commercial customers at customers locations (office building or other commercial or institutional building) typically during the hours of 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Understand and accurately perform all cleaning (restorative and maintenance) methods for carpet, upholstery, fabric and leather. Report to work on time and in proper uniform. Complete work order paperwork after each job and notify supervisor of any special circumstances including photo narratives as appropriate. Responsible for maintaining a safe work area including the use of caution signs and barriers when appropriate. Responsible for care and cleanliness of cleaning equipment and vehicles. Pursue obtaining IICRC certifications in commercial carpet, upholstery, water restoration and ceramic tile. Follow rules, policies, regulations as outlined in company handbook. Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience: One year of industry related experience a plus

Picture Taking: Basic photo taking skills required

- Must have a valid drivers license and motor vehicle record (MVR) must meet Corporate Care insurance requirements.

- IICRC Commercial Carpet Certification, OR IICRC Carpet Certification preferred.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively communicate

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense and understanding to handle problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
