Floor Technician Salary: $18.00 per hour.

Floor Technician Shifts:Monday - Friday Full-time7AM-3PM Flexibility with occasional Evening and Weekend Project Work.

As a member of our Environmental Services Department team, The Floor Technician performs routine floor care including but not limited to, scrubbing, extracting, refreshing, and buffing of floor services while maintaining cleanliness and standard safety protocols.

Floor Technician Responsibilities and Duties

· Maintains all floors, i.e., stripping, refreshing and daily maintenance of various floor types and surfaces throughout the facility.

. Properly and safely operates various pieces of equipment such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, steam machine and etc.

. Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated location after each use.

· Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Technician Qualifications

• Prior experience in long term care preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
