SalaryWe're seeking compassionate Floor Staff Nurses to join our team in our Skilled Nursing Facility in Mobile, AL. The Floor Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to residents during the night shift, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and communicating with physicians, patients, and families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and nursing support during the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, report any changes or concerns to physicians.
- Respond to patients' requests for assistance promptly and with compassion.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Monitor and manage medical equipment, ensuring proper function and maintenance.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
Requirements:
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Alabama.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
