Floor & Merchandising Manager

Once Upon A Child Chesapeake is a locally owned retail store that buys and sells new and gently used kids clothing, shoes, toys, books, furniture, baby equipment and more. Once Upon A Child Chesapeake is looking for a friendly, energetic, self-motivated, ambitious individual to join our team. This is a fast paced business and previous management experience in a busy Customer service environment is required.

Floor Managers will take the lead in daily activities such as keeping our Sales Floor filled, and easy to shop. Other responsibilities will include loss prevention and promoting a high level of Customer Service.

Proven Customer service skills and interpersonal skills

Computer literate and able to operate computerized sales terminals

Performs effectively and safely in an environment where there is constant change

Capable of making quick and appropriate decisions to meet customer and employee needs

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for lengthy periods

Lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted

Bending, rotating, and reaching in a retail environment.

Days and Hours of Work: Rotating flexible schedules Monday - Sunday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
