The Floor Care Technician performs duties within the Environmental Services Department with focus on all flooring to include: carpets, slick floors and cement walkways; and cleans all walking, storing and living spaces to ensure a healthy, clean environment.

1. Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. 2. Cleans assigned areas of building including carpeted, slick floor and cement walkways. 3. Provides slick floor services; such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, mopping to include proper edging on all floor surfaces.. 4. Uses both high speed and low speed buffers and burnishing equipment on slick floors. 5. Applies proper chemical for stripping, waxing and buffing of slick floors using chemical safely. 6. Uses slow speed carpet bonneting machine on all carpeted floor, in a safe and efficient manner.

A. Minimal Education:1. High school diploma or GED preferred.

B. Minimal Experience:1. One year experience in a health care setting preferred.

2. Valid drivers license and able to be covered under our company vehicle insurance.
