Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans - Provide care and support for toddlers in the classroom - Assist students with math concepts and problem-solving skills - Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members - Work with students on the autism spectrum and implement strategies for their individual needs - Manage student behavior and promote a positive classroom environment - Support the lead teacher in overall classroom management - Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for children Experience: - Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting - Knowledge of literacy education and experience implementing literacy activities - Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism - Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies - Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance and professional development opportunities. Pay: From $14.35 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
