Floater/Closer Teacher

A Heritage teacher promotes academic, social-emotional growth and development of all students in their care. Teachers also develop partnerships with parents in order to engage and encourage parent participation.

Essential Functions

• Ability to maintain classroom control
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom
• Uphold confidentiality

Daily Tasks

• Build relationships with parents and staff
• Provide a safe and clean environment for the students
• Provide supervision in the classroom, common areas and playground
• Actively engage in classroom activities
• Distribute projects and assignments to each student’s folder
• Assist in the completion of reports as needed (health, incident, accident, daily)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
