We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Teacher, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your role will involve assisting with classroom management, implementing curriculum, and supporting the overall development of the children in our care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior guidance
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Skills:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Familiarity with early childhood education techniques
- Experience in toddler care and preschool settings
- Strong classroom management skills
- Proficiency in math concepts for early learners
- Understanding of daycare and childcare regulations
- Ability to engage and interact positively with young children
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus
