GENERAL SUMMARY
Maintain fleet of Flight Test aircraft. Support engineering to install and test its products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plans, coordinates, manages, and executes all regularly scheduled aircraft maintenance.
- Coordinate and/or perform aircraft repairs as needed.
- Review new installation drawings and documentation to ensure proper fit and function.
- Install new and existing modifications and equipment maintaining safety of flight personnel and aircraft.
- Fuel aircraft and perform preflight and post flight inspections.
- Maintain all aircraft documentation including logbooks and parts/maintenance tracking databases.
- Coordinate with local FAA designees to renew experimental airworthiness certificates when due.
- Assist cross team, subcontractor, and customer personnel to support Flight Test execution.
- As required, operate test systems and/or instrumentation during test events
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Required:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificates
- Candidate must be able to travel throughout the U.S. to support Flight Tests and have the ability to obtain a passport or visa to travel internationally
- Communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office software products
Preferred:
- Prior work experience in a Flight Test environment
- Proficiency with Corridor

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position works near moving mechanical parts and machinery, in loud working conditions. Working conditions will be both in climate controlled environments, as well as in the natural elements, as the nature of the position dictates that some of the activities associated with this position will be performed both inside and outside of a controlled structure.

Possible 15% of the time to support offsite activity.

SCHEDULE: M-F / 8 hour shift
FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
Salary Range: $25 - $35 / hour
